Finding out how to make e-learning work in practice

See five very different examples of how teachers have used e-learning to meet their learners' needs. Each sample design includes:

Selecting the type of e-learning to suit your purpose

As well as preparing and organising the learning strategies (the content, activities, support and assessment), designing e-learning usually includes making decisions about:

* the best blend of delivery methods (eg online system, communication tools, workshops, on-job activities)
* the most suitable learning approach for the purpose (eg collaborative, self-directed, simulated workplace).
